Easier handling and more precision with the new conductivity sensors

Nov 14, 2008
The entire range of lab conductivity sensors is being replaced by the second generation of InLab® conductivity sensors. The new sensors all show enhanced measuring performance and improved handling for highest possible accuracy in conductivity measurement.
New, enhanced range of laboratory conductivity sensors
  • The general purpose sensors InLab®731 and 738 have a newly developed open tip design. Hence, sample carryover is reduced to an absolute minimum. Cleaning and rinsing has never been easier. The linearity over the whole measuring range has been maximized and the response time has been shortened.
  • The high precision sensors InLab®741 and 742 have a completely new design, made of stainless steel only. These sensors have been designed to measure pure and ultra-pure water with the highest possible accuracy. The temperature range has been extended to 100°C.

Irrespective of application – it could not be easier than with the InLab®731/738 sensors
The InLab®731 and 738 operate over a wide measuring range. This means that these probes can be used for many different industries and sample types. The rugged Epoxy body gives full protection when used in ´rough handling´ environments, for example in a chemical plant, testing laboratories or outdoors. The InLab®731 and 738 come with a quality certificate. Each sensor is tested individually before leaving the production facility. The integrated temperature sensor does away with the need for a separate temperature probe by compensating for the difference in temperature between the sample and reference temperature.

Ultra-pure water – no problem for the high performance sensors InLab®741/742
The extremely robust stainless steel cell and shaft of the InLab®741 and 742 is especially designed for highly accurate and precise results of pure water. These sensors fulfill the requirements of the United States and European Pharmacopoeia and are thus ideal for the pharmaceutical industry.
The large slots reduce the risk of trapping air bubbles that might falsify the results. Furthermore, the risk of carryover from one sample to another is reduced to a minimum. The InLab®741 and 742 come with a quality certificate that indicates the actual cell constant. In addition each individual cell constant is stated on the cable.
