Their balances are integrated into the ERP system Foodvision Faktory from MODUS Consult – and the data can be traced back to production level. This setup makes it easy for Erlander Fleischwaren GmbH & Co. KG to meet the strict requirements of the food industry as per the EU guideline 178/2002 on traceability.

Transport equipment tracking throughout the entire production process
Together with the ERP specialists at MODUS Consult – a Microsoft Business Solution Partner – Erlander developed a concept that gave the internal processes a critical inspection. The goal was to track internal company transport equipment throughout the entire production process and to manage the required documents with as little paper as possible. This is in line with the requirements of the EU guideline 178/2002 and the International Food Standard (IFS).

State-of-the-art weighing technology
In addition to new server technology and office hardware, 15 weighing terminals with bench scales and floor scales by METTLER TOLEDO were installed. As a result, the entire production area (receiving, carving, formulation, commissioning) now boasts state-of-the-art weighing technology, developed to the latest standards in hygienic design (EHEDG and NSF) and integrated into the ERP system.
