Every analytical method used in a regulated environment must be validated. Once a suitable method has been obtained and proven to provide correct and reliable results, the method parameters are transferred into a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) that must be followed strictly. The transfer of this method to a new instrument is a great challenge, as it may require method re-validation.
