ICE COLD Volunteer Activities
The ICE Community Oriented Leadership Development (ICE COLD) Program encourages both current and former ICE members to give back to the community through quarterly volunteer activities. These events are coordinated and facilitated by current ICE employees and have most recently included the following:
Backpack & School Supply Collection to benefit the Give a Kid a Backpack Foundation
Current and former ICE members requested backpack and school supply donations from their respective work groups, with the goal of collecting a total of 50 backpacks filled with school supplies. In the end, we were able to ship a total of 60 backpacks to the foundation for distribution within the United States and across the globe.
Thanksgiving Food Drive for the Mid-Ohio Food Bank
ICE members organized and facilitated a food drive across all three METTLER TOLEDO facilities in central Ohio. As a result, a total of 1,162 food items were delivered to the food bank just in time for Thanksgiving.
