Features and Benefits

A gas sensing electrode (GSE) consists of a pH electrode immersed in an electrolyte solution which is separated from the measuring solution by a gas sensitive membrane. The gas which has to be determined, diffuses through the membrane and changes the pH value of the electrolyte.
Concentrations of acid or alkaline gases can easily be determined in this way. The rugged plastic shaft makes the GSE ideal for both field and laboratory applications.
