This on-going series reviews recent advances made in organic chemistry by academia where real-time in situ mid-IR analytics played a role in the advancement of the research. Several recent publications will be reviewed covering the following research topics:
- Online monitoring of biotransformations in high viscous multi-phase systems
- Tuning the selectivity of the oxetane and CO2 coupling process
- Equimolar CO2 absorption by anion-functionalized ionic liquids
In each publication, reaction analysis by real-time FTIR provided important information that led to a better understanding of the reaction. This presentation will provide an overview of each publication and further insight into how ReactIR™ was used as an enabling technology.
